Creating your impact report

The following guide will help you create an impact report using the Vested Impact application.

Configuring business basics

1. Ensure your business name is correct. This should be pre-filled from when you signed up.
2. Select the correct industry. This helps the platform identify the most relevant business products, services and activities in the next stage of the assessment.
3. Provide a description of your products and services. This step helps us to automate the next stage and suggest activities that are relevant to the business.
4. Enter your primary country of operations and the number of employees.
5. Enter your latest annual growth and revenue metrics, or if you do not have available data feel free to select that the business is pre-revenue. NOTE: Financial data is never shared in impact reports and is used only in our back-end calculations to apply scaling relative to the size of the business.

Defining business operations

1. Select the relevant products, services and activities from the drop-down list. Any activity that accounts for less than 10% of the business’ total revenue is considered immaterial and should not be included. NOTE: If you are unable to find an activity that correctly captures your business operations, you can click the link on this page to submit a ticket which we will review.
2. Select all relevant countries of operation to be considered as part of the assessment.

Assigning weightings

1. Estimate the percentage weight of each business activity, as a total proportion of all business activities. The weighting can represent either the percentage of revenue due to the activity or the percentage of business operations.
2. Within each activity check the country distribution. You can apply different geographic weightings within each activity and even remove a specific country from an activity.

Review

Finally review the data you have entered to ensure it is correct before submitting the impact assessment. Once submitted your impact data should be ready within 5 minutes.
